Westchester County’s Surplus Equipment
In addition to performing the purchasing function for Westchester County, the Bureau of Purchase and Supplies also disposes surplus items, scrap items and equipment that have reached their end of life. This is done in a variety of methods depending upon the item and its market value.
Westchester County utilizes eBay, Auctions International, and advertised sealed bids to sell off the surplus.
